Do I know how to let time pass or what? Ok - so excuses in no specific order:
Closing was delayed til the 24th of November
24th of November was our 20 YEAR wedding anniversary. I'm that old? Really??
Every single second before the closing was entirely stressful - we had no idea if we were actually going to get the mortgage - it was all very sketchy (long and boring story).
Then of course, we moved.
So now we have the gorgeous work of selling our house - yay. Which leads me to this post. Now, I might have posted about pee sticks before, but it's such a recurring theme, who cares, right? Or more to the point, who remembers?
While cleaning out one of my drawers I found a bag full of used pee sticks - appropriately marked with day/date/time (of course). So here's my question - what's worse? That I kept them? That I reviewed them all lovingly and remembered the feeling of seeing those lines - OR that I actually packed them and brought them to the new house? Yeah - I think it's door number three too. Shouldn't I be over this by now?
I would totally have taken them with me. So we're both disturbed!

I moved in august and did the same thing. Unbeknownst to my hubby there is a box full of old pee in our nice new bathroom

I'm glad you made it through closing. We closed on both of our houses the day before you did. Two closings in one day was not a heap of fun, but everything went fine with ours, too.
Too funny on the pee sticks! I moved some of mine, too, just the one from Adam's pregnancy, though. I threw out all of the miscarriage & ectopic ones. Couldn't handle bringing those along. Supposed to be a fresh start and all.
